Forest 500

Forest 500 is an online app from Global Canopy for identifying and ranking the companies and financial institutions that have the most significant influence over forest-risk commodity supply chains.  It tracks and ranks their impact on and progress towards a deforestation-free global economy.

The tool assesses the 500 biggest companies in these agricultural supply chains and the parties that fund them.  It increases the awareness and recognition of companies, financial institutions and governments of their responsibility in the deforestation economy.

This information enables all stakeholders can engage in the process of keeping the supply chain participants accountable and commit to preventing deforestation.
