ENCORE (Exploring Natural Capital Opportunities, Risks and Exposure) maps the impacts and dependencies different economic sectors have on nature.  The data initiative enables financial institutions and investors to identify and assess nature-based risks to the businesses in their portfolios.

ENCORE takes a global approach to a broad range of nature impacts and dependencies, including biodiversity-loss and deforestation.  This information can be applied to screen portfolios for natural capital risk and integrate the insights into their existing risk management processes.

ENCORE is used by investors, lenders, regulators and central banks worldwide, also for major studies on systemic risks.
