At the Royal United Hospitals (RUH) we want to provide the highest quality of care, whilst being a sustainable organisation that is fit for the future.  For us to be a sustainable organisation that is fit for the future, we must achieve a balance between our environmental, social and economic activities.

In order to achieve this, we strive to help staff, patients and visitors experience the highest quality of care through:

  • Enhancing our environment
  • Removing pollution
  • Reducing wasteful practices
  • Having a positive impact on the community

There are ten areas that we will be focusing on to make the Trust more sustainable in everything that we do as shown below.  We will update the sections so keep checking back for updates and ways you can get involved to support the trust in being a sustainable organisation that is fit for the future.
