The BuildAction platform enables communities of sustainable development advocates to communicate, collaborate and cooperate on the development and protection of their living space.  It helps stakeholders to fulfill their civic duty and actively participate in their community.

BuildAction facilitates cooperation and collaborative efforts and the coordination of collective action between stakeholders.  Communities thereby improve practices and strategies for their sustainable development and protection.

BuildAction is a stakeholder participation toolkit that improves the effectiveness and efficiency of participatory democracy for communities and their stakeholders.  It provides an open, democratic and transparent mechanism for interested parties to engage with community stakeholders to address issues that are important to them.

BuildAction allows the posting of pictures of elements of natural landscapes worthy of protection (Gallery), the Enablers, Concerns, Alert!, Petition, Projects, Resources, News and Events.  This improves the quality of public decision-making and policy and the verifiability and accountability of participatory democracy mechanisms.

The BuildAction Baden bei Wien Community serves as a model for other communities to take action to overcome the blockade and encourage the community, relevant authorities, decision-makers, and politicians to take steps to encourage sustainable development and protect our living space.  It serves as a template for other communities to mobilize stakeholders for the common cause.

Community-based organizations are an essential link between those affected and the emergency responders as they disseminate information, coordinate resources, and provide assistance in the event of emergency and disaster.  BuildAction actively promotes and encourages their support.
