The United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) is a partnership between UNEP and the global financial sector. UNEP FI works with more than 450 banks, insurers, and investors and over 100 supporting institutions to mobilize private sector finance for sustainable development.
UNEP IF engages with members from the banking and insurance industries, technical experts, and key stakeholders to promote sustainable finance. It encourages a financial sector that serves people and the planet while delivering positive impacts.
UNEP IF aims to inspire, inform and enable financial institutions to improve the quality of life without compromising future generations.
