The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the lead development agency of the UN and supports some 170 countries and territories in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through integrated solutions. Headquartered in New York City, NY, the UNDP is an executive board within the United Nations General Assembly.
UNDP works to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities and exclusion, and build resilience for countries to sustain progress. It plays a critical role in helping countries achieve the SDGs laid out in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Achieving the SDGs requires the partnership of all stakeholders – governments, private sector, civil society and citizens.
