The Social Progress Imperative (SPI) uses data to influence policies and investments to better serve all of humanity. Based in Washington, D.C., with more than 70 partners in 45 countries, it provides stakeholders with information to tackle global and local challenges, to improve the qulity of life for everyone everywhere.
SPI partners with leaders in every sector – government, business, and civil society – to equip them with the right information to meet the pressing needs of communities. It develops data-driven tools at a global, national and local level, that identify whether people have what they need to prosper, from basic needs like adequate shelter, being well-nourished, and feeling safe.
SPI actively advocates and supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
