The Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) is an independent, nonprofit international research institute engages in environment and development issues at local, national, regional and global policy levels. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, and with offices in seven countries, SEI connects science and decision-making to develop solutions for a sustainable future for all.
SEI's work spans climate, water, air and land-use issues, governance, the economy, gender and health. Stakeholder involvement is at the heart of its efforts to build capacity, strengthen institutions and equip partners for long-term change.
