Based in Paris, France, it is hosted by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) as its secretariat.
One Planet was established as the implementation mechanism of the UN's 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP 10YFP). It aims to facilitate implementing Goal 12 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The network is open to all relevant stakeholders and organizations to join and to actively engage.
