Householders’ Options to Protect the Environment (HOPE) Inc. is founded on the vision of a society which is sustainable ecologically, economically and socially. The core idea of HOPE is that we need to act in our own communities in a way that’s effective and meaningful: "Think Globally, Act Locally".
HOPE investigates global environmental issues of concern as well as "good works" being advocated and/or undertaken and translates these matters into a local context. HOPE helps individuals, families, communities, and other stakeholders to mitigate such adverse impacts as pollution and the waste of resources.
While HOPE endorses individual action, it encourages people to act together in local communities across Austrialia, whether urban, rural or regional, and in society as a whole.
