The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is an independent international standards organization that provides the global standard framework for sustainability reporting.  Headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, GRI is supported by seven regional offices and strategically located around the world.

GRI Standards help organizations identify, gather and report information about their environmental, economic and social (ESG) impacts clearly and comparably.  The ESG metrics for GRI Standards are based on OECD guidelines for Multinational corporations and UN Guiding Principles.

Through the preparation and publication of a standardized sustainability report, organizations can better understand and communicate their ESG impacts and become more transparent.
