The GRESB Foundation is an independent, nonprofit Dutch organization that sets global standards for assessing the environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance of real estate, infrastructure and other assets. GRESB BV is a benefit corporation owned by Summit Partners that is responsible for administering the assessments, providing the benchmarks, developing new solutions, and supporting GRESB members.
GRESB gathers data on the ESG performance of the assets for comparison. GRESB incorporates information in its assessments from several international green building certification programs.
GRESB advocates the transition to sustainable real assets through reliable ESG information, standardized global benchmarks, and collective stakeholder action.
