Greenpeace European Unit is part of the international Greenpeace network. Located Brussels, the European Unit is Greenpeace's advocacy office for European Union-related issues and is not a coordinating office for Greenpeace in Europe.
Greenpeace uses non-violent creative action to pave the way towards a greener, more peaceful world, and to confront the systems that threaten our environment. Greenpeace takes action for clean energy that is affordable for everyone, a safe climate for the next generation, a food and farming system that works with not not against nature, and air and water free from pollution.
Th European Unit campaigns for a EU that works for people, nature and the planet, to change attitudes and behaviour, to protect and conserve the environment, and to promote peace.
