Friends of the Earth Australia (FoEA) is a social and environmental justice organization of 13 independent local groups that are active throughout the country. FoEA is a member of Friends of the Earth International, which is the world's largest grassroots environmental network uniting 77 national member groups and local activist groups on every continent.
Its national campaigns are focused on all aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle, climate justice, and support for the rights of indigenous people. Other key campaign areas include land and water, economics for the earth, and sustainable food production.
In close alliance with many other sectors of society, FoEA seeks to work toward a sustainable and equitable future and to operate in a way that empowers individuals and communities.
