Ecologic Institute EU is an independent, academic think tank for environmental research and policy analysis. Based in Berlin, Germany, with offices in Brussels and Washington DC, the private, nonprofit institution is financed through its project work.
Ecologic Institute is dedicated to improving environmental policy, sustainable development and policy practice, where a key priority is strengthening the European and international dimensions in research, education and environmental policy discourse. Its staff researches, supports and evaluates national, European and international political processes and unites actors from science, politics and practice.
Through findings and ideas, it helps to mainstream environmental issues into policy.
