Accountable Now ist eine globale Wohltätigkeitsorganisation, die von führenden Organisationen der Zivilgesellschaft („Civil Society Organisations“, CSO) gegründet wurde, um deren Transparenz und Rechenschaftspflicht zu verbessern. Zu den Mitgliedsorganisationen in mehr als 150 Ländern gehören Organisationen aus den Bereichen Entwicklung, humanitäre Hilfe, Umwelt und Rechtsschutz.
Accountable Now unterstützt zivilgesellschaftliche Organisationen im sozialen Sektor dabei, transparent zu sein und auf ihre Stakeholder einzugehen, und konzentriert sich auf die Erbringung von Leistungen und die Auswirkungen, die sie auf Stakeholder in der ganzen Welt haben. Sie fördert die Rechenschaftspflicht und Transparenz von CSO sowie die Kommunikation mit ihren Stakeholdern und ihre Leistung.
