Gender equality is critical to realizing all the SDGs, yet progress remains unacceptably slow.  UN Women’s Gender snapshot 2022 shows that SDG 5 is well off track, reflecting and affecting the progress of all of the SDGs.  Without change, it could take "close to another 300 years to achieve full gender equality".
