While Vietnam's results in the Sustainable Development Report 2024 published by SDSN are slightly above the global average, the country still faces a number of major challenges in achieving sustainable development.  To achieve the 2030 Agenda, cooperation and support from development partners and responsible foreign investors is crucial to support Vietnam's national efforts.  The low uptake of sustainable development practices is a cause for concern.  only 2% of 700,000 businesses promote sustainable development and only about 100,000 have access to sustainable development information.  This highlights the challenges and opportunities and also emphasizes the urgent need to support Vietnamese businesses in adopting sustainable practices, who are ultimately the enablers of sustainability.
