While Vietnam's results in the Sustainable Development Report 2024 published by SDSN are slightly above the global average, the country still faces a number of major challenges in achieving sustainable development.  To achieve the 2030 Agenda, cooperation and support from development partners and responsible foreign investors is crucial to support Vietnam's national efforts.  The low uptake of sustainable development practices is a cause for concern.  Only 2% (2,000 businesses) of 700,000 businesses are in the sustainable development community and only around 100,000 businesses having access to information on sustainable development.  This highlights the challenges and opportunities and emphasizes the need to support Vietnamese businesses in adopting sustainable practices.
