The World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) is a global action network that facilitates the development of sustainable buildings for everyone, everywhere. Based in London, England, and with an office in Toronto, Canada, the WorldGBC comprises about 70 green building councils around the world.
WorldGBC's mission is to transform the building and construction sector across the strategic areas of climate action, health and well-being, and resources and circularity. The network aims to lead the industry towards a net-zero carbon, healthy, equitable, and resilient built environment.
The member green building councils (GBCs) are independent, nonprofit organizations in the building and construction industry.
